Airbus 380 Arrives at Pointe-à-Pitre

Thousands turned out to see MSN004, the world's largest commercial airplane, land for the first time in Guadeloupe. It was a stopover on the way back to Toulouse from Medellín, Columbia, where the crew of 35 had been conducting behavious tests at high altitude airfields. A few weeks later, when Louise and I were already home, the plane landed in Canada as well, in Iqaluit, for cold weather testing.
